Duke’s Providore engaged us to for a traditional hand painted gold leaf sign for their bespoke delicatessen in Cronulla. Designed to reflect the quality and craftsmanship of the business, the signage complements Duke’s offering of premium goods from morning through to night.

The lettering features a two-tone convex effect achieved using a single gild of gold leaf which has been nicknamed a “Chicago gild” as there are many examples of this in the city’s historic downtown storefronts.

With a bold black outline and block shade, combined with the matte and mirror convex effect. It is a beautiful example of what can be chivied by hand and is sure to capture the attention of people passing by.
